Our impact ambition is to empower underserved individuals and communities, enabling meaningful financial inclusion and expanding access to economic opportunity. Focus areas include Socio-Economic Development and Small Business Support, with investments directed toward safer financial transactions, entrepreneurship and SME growth, employment creation, and stronger community resilience. These efforts are closely aligned with the core business, helping to broaden economic participation, strengthen local ecosystems, and drive sustainable, inclusive growth over the long term. We focus on two areas.
Community upliftment, education, and economic participation - supporting organisations and initiatives that create lasting change.
Enterprise and supplier development – supporting qualifying B-BBEE businesses with opportunities to grow, scale and become apart of our supply chain.
SED focuses on improving the well-being of the communities in which we operate, with an emphasis on enabling participation in the economy.
The donation of computers, building repair of work in Early Childhood Development centre, buying school shoes for learners, community upliftment programme.
Our Small Business Support is delivered through two channels.
Supplier Development (SD) and Enterprise Development (ED). SD support is for existing suppliers to the Group and ED support is for small businesses not yet in our supplier base but has the potential to be developed and added to our ecosystem.
ED and SD beneficiaries must be at least 51% Black-owned and an annual revenue of less than R50 million.
